A: Enrolling in the academy is helpful because our coaches guide students to approach their time online more consciously. It has become common for children to play video games for several hours a day, and we seek to convert that time into an activity that is both fun and productive. An example of how we do this is by having students participate in post-game analysis where they critically evaluate how they could improve after an online match, such as finding ways to work better in a team, overcoming miscommunication, and handling defeat.
Our Esports Academy is a controlled environment, and all our coaches are certified and motivated to demonstrate the value of competitive gaming.
Students are encouraged not to think of playing games without a purpose, just for fun. Instead, students work on core skills that are transferable to other aspects of life, such as leadership, working as a team, overcoming challenges, and many more abilities that will help shape and develop their future without sacrificing what they love the most – games.

A: If you aren’t able to attend a class, let us know and we can hold your membership until you’re able to attend once more.

We work with parents and students to understand how best to incorporate all children into our sessions. Fortnite Academy members also receive 4 hours of free play every month, so after the 1 ½ hour academy sessions, they can stay an extra hour to play with friends at the academy, allowing the fun to last longer.

Minecraft Pioneer Academy

MPA is an exciting programme designed for children aged 6-12. Students progress through a storyline-based lesson plan, with each session encouraging teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving as they tackle various tasks, such as building structures, managing resources, and mastering game mechanics. The MPA is also ideal for younger kids interested in our coding classes, as it helps develop their problem-solving skills through the completion of complex projects, which is essential for our coding program. Parents can enjoy peace of mind knowing their children are engaging in a fun, educational experience that builds essential skills while also allowing them to make new friends.

Coding with Minecraft

Our goal on the Coding with Minecraft course is to provide children with valuable soft and hard skills. We will arm the students with all the basic knowledge they will need to understand any modern programming language and start to code by themselves. On top of that, they’ll be socialising with like-minded students and improving their teamwork and leadership skills in a context which is almost irreplicable outside. The students will also eventually be able to progress onto our higher-level courses which build on top of the basic knowledge and promote a lot more independence and creativity, allowing students to build projects based on loose guidelines and develop a portfolio of their work – something which will be very helpful to them should they want to pursue education or work in IT in the future.
